The President is Dead: A lecture from the author of the book "The President is Dead," a collection of stories from presidents in their final days. Dey Mansion releases its first program of its newly formed lecture series on February 12, 2017. Louis L. Picone, author of The President is Dead will be sharing his research methodology and enthusiasm about the captivating stories of how our presidents, from George Washington to Gerald Ford met their ends, the circumstances of their deaths, the ceremony of their funerals, their public afterlives, conspiracy theories surrounding their deaths, and much more! Picone is an author and current graduate student at William Paterson University. He has served on the board for the Roxbury Historic Trust and is a member of the Authors Guild and Mensa International. In 2016, Picone was invited to speak at the international conference “U.S. Presidents and Russian Rulers” at the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow. He has also traveled all around the United States, visiting historic sites associated with our great presidents. Admission for this event will include a tour of DeyMansion and light refreshments will be served. $5 per person - please RSVP to 973-696-1776
