The paintings of David John Rush will be on exhibit for a second extension through Wednesday, February 28 at the Morris County Library located at 30 East Hanover Avenue in Whippany, N. J. 07981, free to the public.
With 34 paintings on display in an art form called Chromatic Structuralism, Mr. Rush’s work continues to fascinate and intrigue the library’s visitors with its play on image, color, light, shadows and geometry that keeps the onlooker spellbound. A distinguished guest artist to the library, Mr. Rush has been painting for over 50 years and is honored as one of New Jerseys finest in the book, New Jersey Artists Through Time, by Tova Navarra.
The library’s hours are Monday-Thursday, 9am-9pm. Friday and Saturday, 9am-5pm and Sunday, 1pm-5pm. The library will be closed February 12 and 19th. For more information, call 973-285-6930 or go to www.mclib.info.
