Ringwood – Join associate naturalist and now published author, George Petty, on this expedition to observe spring wildflowers. Precious and ephemeral, spring wildflowers are a real treat to see. Learning when and where to look will increase your chances of being able to catch these sometimes-inconspicuous plants in bloom. Bring your field guides, proper footwear, and water. George will have copies of his new book available for purchase and signing. Heavy soaking rain postpones the walk until the next day. The cost of the Wildflowers Walk is $8 per person, with a $3 discount for members of the New Jersey Audubon Society.
