NUBIAN QUILTERS EXHIBIT. Back by popular demand, the Nubian Heritage Quilters Guild, whose mission is to promote the legacy of African American quilting, will display their latest work in an exhibit titled Fabric of Our Lives: One Stitch in the Past to One Stitch in the Future. Their beautiful handcrafted quilts will be displayed throughout the Crane House Museum, along with demonstrations, a Children's Corner, plus special exhibits of goddess dolls, artists' trading cards, postcards and journal pages. Hours on Fridays and Saturdays are 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., and on Sundays are 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. The public is invited to the opening reception on Friday, February 1st from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The cost of admission is $5 per person. Children seven and under are free. Admission is free for Montclair Historical Society members. Location: Crane House Museum, 110 Orange Road
