If you have ever wondered whether food really does affect your mood, the answer is a resounding yes. Food and Mood is a class that explores the relationship between diet and mood, conducted by Dr. Karen Ensle, a registered dietician and health educator who heads the Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Union County. Dr. Ensle will explain the latest research on the relationship between the food choices we make and their effect on the nervous system. The class also includes guidelines to help improve eating habits, and to relieve stress through food choices. Pre-registration is required, by calling the Extension at 908-654-9854. The fee for the class is $5.00 per person, collected at the door.
