This year, the 2009 Eastern Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships will be hosted by the Skating Club of Morris. There will be nearly 2000 athletes and coaches in attendance from the eastern section of the United States.

The Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships are held annually to crown the champions in 6 developmental and 8 competitive levels. The top placements in the competitive levels advance to the 2009 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships in February of 2009.
