The Fair Lawn Jewish Center/Congregation B’nai Israel Social Action Committee will be holding its 3rd annual Walk-a-Thon on Sunday, May 17th, 11:30am – 2:00pm at Memorial Pool, 14-00 Berdan Avenue, Fair Lawn.



This year, the annual event is being held for two causes that are close to the hearts of Fair Lawn Jewish Center members. The first is the Miriam Avraham (z"l) Fund for the Performing and Literary Arts that was established by the Solomon Schechter Day School of Bergen County in memory of Miriam Avraham who passed away following a car accident in October 2008. The second cause to benefit from the Walk-a-Thon will be a Fair Lawn Jewish Center “Children’s Fund� for scholarships and special programming.
