Declaration is read at 2:30pm Join us at Ringwood Manor for a colonial celebration and traditional reading of the Declaration of Independence! Reenactors and volunteers help to create a colonial green in front of Ringwood Manor. Declaration is delivered by horse & rider and read aloud to the gathered crowd- just like it would have been 240 years ago! Sign your own Declaration with a quill pen & ink Colonial crafts and demonstrations Join the militia and learn military drills 18th century baked goods Celebratory dancing Display on Rignwood's own Robert Erskine Free watermelon slices and more! A fun and historic event for the entire family! No fee for the event; State park per car parking fee applies: $5 per car in-state residents, $7 per car out-of-state residents Ringwood Manor will be open only from 10am to 1:30pm for self-guided tours. $3 for adults, $1 for children ages 6-12, children 5 and under are free
