In conjunction with Jersey City Museum’s current exhibition, The Albizu Project, artist Manuel Acevedo explores the influence of poetry and Puerto Rican Nationalism on his work in a discussion with art historian and critic Yasmin Ramirez. Spoken word artist, Luis "Babaloo" Felicies, will read Acevedo’s poetry and that of acclaimed poet Martin Espada, among others.

Hora Felíz (happy hour) with light refreshments & wine from 5 to 6 pm, program starts at 6 pm
