At the August Meeting, George E. Mahlberg will discuss living in space. For over a quarter of a century, humanity has been building larger and more enduring laboratories in low Earth orbit. George will explain the development of these orbiting stuctures, past, present and future.
Following the meeting and lecture, the 26 telescope will be open for public viewing until 10:30 PM, weather permitting. The lecture will be held rain or shine.
