Known as the jewels of the bird world, the Ruby-throated hummingbird leads a perilous life as it migrates from Mexico and points south to spend the summer in our backyards. Join staff naturalist Philip De Rea to learn about the hummingbird’s journey and how to attract these exciting dynamos to your yard. This program is offered two Saturdays, August 10th and August 17th from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. allowing you to pick a day that fits into your schedule. Pre-registration is required. The August 10th program will be followed by an Introduction to Butterfly Gardening workshop, so why not sign up for both!
The cost for the program is $8 for Non-members and there is a $3 discount for Members of New Jersey Audubon Society.
