19th Century Baseball! Batter up! Ringwood Manor is calling all baseball fans to come see America’s favorite pastime played according to 19th century rules and regulations. On Sunday, May 6th, watch the Flemington Neshanocks take on the Brandywine Base Ball Club in a double header. Can't stay for the whole day? No problem! Games begin with first pitches being tossed out at 11:00am and 1pm. Both teams play following the rules established in 1873, use period baseball equipment, and wear typical 19th century baseball uniforms. During the 7th inning stretch, hear a retelling of the classic baseball poem, Casey at the Bat. Free and open to the public! Bring your chair, a blanket, your picnic lunch, and cheer on your favorite team. We invite the public to come see how the game of baseball has evolved over 125 years! Hot dogs and refreshments will be available to purchase at the field. Steady rain cancels the event.
