Stokes State Forest Youth Fishing Challenge.

Join us at Stokes State Forest for the HOFNOD Youth Fishing Challenge taking place at Lake Ashroe this Saturday, June 9. It's free fishing day so no license is necessary and registration is free. The contest is open to ages 20 or younger. We will have free loaner poles available, and the lake will be stocked for the event.

Visits from the Sheriff's office Law Enforcement Against Drugs Car, the Avian Wildlife Center, SCUMA and NJ Division of Fish and Wildlife with their stocking truck.

Lake Ashroe Recreation Area is located on Struble Road about a mile from Route 206.
