Annual Winter Festival 2019. The Friends of High Point State Park invite you to our Annual Winter Festival being held Saturday, Jan. 26th, 2019 from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm ( Jan 27 snow date) in and around the Interpretive Center and Lake Marcia. The Schedule will include: Indoor and outdoor activities (conditions permitting) will include ice fishing, snow shoes, sled dog demonstrations, curling, bird crafts, and light refreshments will be available A Guided Hike Local meteorologist Nick Stefano talks about weather Story Time for kids Sing a-long for all ages! Join the Friends of High Point State Park at our Annual Winter Festival. Winter Festival will be held regardless of snow on the ground. Events such as ice fishing, curling, snow-shoeing will be available conditions permitting. In the event of adverse weather, be sure to check here for cancellation and snow-date confirmation of Sunday, Jan 27th. This is one of our most popular events and is family appropriate. Join The Friends of HPSP for an afternoon of fun on the mountain! The event is free. A suggested donation of $5 per person is always appreciated and helps support events like this.
