oin us for a program about the process, history, and ecology of maple sap & syrup. Private sessions for your group, troop, club or company are also available (email us at: sarah@highlandsnaturefriends.org) • A short hike to learn about winter tree ID, sap ecology, and tree biology • Hear about the history of tree tapping and some of the many things sap is used for • Visit the tapped trees where we'll learn how to tap and collect and taste the sap • See the evaporator and how it works • We'll finish with a syrup taste test, of course! • Outdoor program; dress accordingly • Non-refundable. In case of inclement weather, the program will be rescheduled. > $10 per person
