Join the knowledgeable staff and volunteers at the Pequest Trout Hatchery and learn some fishing basics. Staff will talk about the history and use of the hatchery, safety and ethics of fishing. They will go over equipment and how it is used. After the discussion, participants will practice casting before heading to the pond for some hands-on fishing experience. Participants are encouraged to bring a cooler with ice so that they can bring their catch home and enjoy a fresh fish dinner.
