The Friends of Harmony Hall announce the 12th Annual Highlands Bluegrass Festival & Crafts Fair, scheduled for Sunday, September 11th, from 1 to 5pm, on the Great Lawn at Harmony Hall - Jacob Sloat House, 15 Liberty Rock Road, Sloatsburg, NY. This year's Bluegrass Festival features newcomer Andrea Asprelli (Duo), The Eugene Tyler Band, and Cole Quest & The City Pickers (Cole being the grandson of folk icon Woody Guthrie). Aidan Hand, President of the Sloatsburg Chamber of Commerce and Key Bank Branch Manager will be emceeing the event. There will be food, beverages, arts & crafts for kids, hand craft items for sale, and a beer garden! This festival known for its wonderful musicality will sound from our outdoor stage set in the beautiful Ramapo River Valley. This National Register of Historic Places site is located between Harriman and Sterling Forest State Parks in the surrounding scenic Ramapo Mountains. Our annual Bluegrass Festival builds awareness and support for our preservation efforts.
