This fun, useful, and engaging class will meet one Saturday each month, from 10-12. Our schedule is ongoing. Join at any time. Each month we will study a new medicinal herb in great detail. By studying one plant thoroughly, we are able to explore a wide range of topics in herbal medicine- different health conditions, when to use specific herbs, properties of plants, “energetics� of herbs, herbal remedy crafting, and much more. Our focus will be on learning herbs intimately and developing relationships that go far beyond book learning. Morrie Shafer is a local herbalist with 25 years experience. She has studied with some of the leading herbalists in the Northeast, and currently runs Herbal Arts Apothecary, an herbal consultation business and education center.
