– Learn the basics of cross country skiing on flat and sloping terrain from our personable and patient instructors; then develop your technique and hone your new skills on our field. Three identical 1.5- hour sessions are being offered on Saturdays and Sundays in January. Sessions run at 9am, 11 am, and 2 pm on January 4,5,11,12,18, and 19. In case of “no snow� conditions classes will still meet at 11am only on Saturdays and 2pm only on Sundays.

The cost of the ski clinic is $20 per person, and $15 for members of the New Jersey Audubon Society and includes equipment rental. If you have your own equipment, then the cost is $10 for non-members and $5 for members. The cost of instruction if there is no snow is $12 for non-members and $8 for members. Pre-registration is required as space is limited. When registering, please include shoe size and alternate time/date choices. The Weis Ecology Center is one of nine staffed centers operated by the New Jersey Audubon Society, a private, not-for-profit, member supported organization.
