Tour the 18th century stone fort & museum site to learn the area's heritage. The 1793 stone house, is one of the most historic buildings in Pt. Jervis. Burned during Joseph Brant's attack in 1779, was rebuilt in 1793. Also a hotel during the building of the D&H Canal in 1820's. Enjoy the varied displays. Society offerss local history-related books in the gift shop.
