For over 50 years, Nektar has captivated audiences with their immersive “Sound and Light Theatre” experience, blending progressive rock with stunning visuals. Despite challenges—including lineup changes, the pandemic, and the recent loss of founding member Ron Howden—the band has remained dedicated to evolving their sound while staying true to their roots. Their 2019 reunion reignited a creative spark, leading to the release of The Other Side and extensive touring. Now, in 2024, Nektar is poised for an exciting new chapter with their latest album, Mission to Mars. Founding member Derek “Mo” Moore and guitarist Ryche Chlanda have crafted a powerful, forward-thinking record that balances classic Nektar elements with fresh energy. The band’s signature light show has also been reimagined, incorporating cutting-edge visuals and 3D effects to create a truly immersive concert experience. With Mission to Mars set for release and new music already in the works, Nektar continues to honor their legacy while boldly forging ahead. Paul Bielatowicz Band Paul Bielatowicz, an accomplished English composer and musician, has recorded and toured with some of the biggest names in progressive rock, including Carl Palmer, Dream Theater, Yes, and more. He describes himself as "a classical pianist trapped in a rock guitarist’s body" and brings his passion for music to life with the diverse range of instruments he plays on stage. The live event will thrill audiences as he is joined by Michael Dutko (Gary Hoey) on bass and Leah Bluestein (Eagles of Death Metal) on drums. The mesmerizing multimedia production is further enhanced by virtual all-star guest appearances on three video screens, including Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater), Arthur Brown (Crazy World of Arthur Brown), Dave Bainbridge (Strawbs, Iona), Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (Guns N' Roses, Sons of Apollo, Asia), Peter Zay (New Bedford Symphony Orchestra), and Simon Fitzpatrick (ELP Legacy, Jennifer Batten).
