Join Naturalists from the New Jersey Audubon Society’s Weis Ecology Center, local experts, and State Wildlife Biologists with the New Jersey’s Endangered and Non-game Species Program for this fun and informative workshop! A breakfast presentation on Bald Eagle and winter raptor identification will be followed by a car-pool to local vantage points to watch the skies and practice your raptor ID skills. Later the group will return to Weis and warm up with a hot lunch (provided), and a discussion of the status of nesting and wintering Bald Eagles in New Jersey. Dress for the weather and bring your best optics. This workshop is being held on Saturday, January 25, from 8 am to 2 pm and is intended for teens and adults.

The cost of the workshop is $30 per person, with a $10 discount for members of the New Jersey Audubon Society. The price includes breakfast, lunch and handouts. The Weis Ecology Center is one of nine staffed centers operated by the New Jersey Audubon Society, a private, not-for-profit, member supported organization.
