Weis Ecology Center is offering a moderately paced, 4-mile Groundhog’s Day hike along the Bearfort Ridge Loop on Sunday, February 2, from 9:30 to 2:30. Join hike leader “Charming� Charlie Toole for an excursion to the area of Hewitt Forest between the Greenwood Lakes. Great views of both are offered from Bearfort Mountain. Winter destinations are weather and safety dependent, and subject to change. Dress appropriately (wind/water/snow proof layers as necessary) and pack lunch and water.

The cost of the hike is $8 per person, with a $3 discount for members of the New Jersey Audubon Society. Pre-registration is required as space is limited.
