Ironmaking demonstration with operating iron furnace. Iron will run at Long Pond Ironworks for the second time in time in 120 years. This is a neat demonstration of liquifying the rock (ore) and extracting the iron out. This demonstration is run by a chemistry teacher who has done it several times with his high school students as part of a chemistry class.
