The exhibition "Critical Mass" traces the early events of Happenings, Fluxus and Pop Art at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey during the late 1950s and through the 1960s. This exhibition and the following related activities revisit the experimental art forms that challenged artists to look past conservative and formal art training. It has been organized by Geoffrey Hendricks, a founding member of the Fluxus movement, who has been on the visual arts faculty since 1956. Open 10/1/03 - 11/5/03
