9th Annual Knowlton RiverFest. Declared by New Jersey Monthly magazine as one of the Best 50 things about New Jersey, RiverFest presents three days of a free, family-oriented music festival features acts from around the world that run the gamut from swing to jazz to new grass, blues, funk and folk. Headlining Saturday night is the Australian band "BROTHER," while other acts include the Red Elvises, Railroad Earth, Baka Beyond, Doefel (a guitar duo from Brazil), Black Widow Band, Grover Kemble, Milo Z, Peter Karp and Roadshow, The Allison Brown Quartet, The Nashville Bluegrass Band, Sons of the San Joaquin (a cowboy band from California), Mef Gannon, teenage guitar sensation Eric Steckel, and the internationally recognized Harlem Gospel Choir. New this year is a Children's Tent on Sunday hosted by Netcong's Growing Stage Theater, with arts & crafts, wilderness survival skill demonstrations by representatives of Tom Brown's Tracker School, an interactive Native American music program and other activities. Vendor Village and food sales continue all weekend.
