A heritage festival to celebrate the cultures, contributions, and current life of the Nordic countries: Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. Music, dance, crafts, food, talks, reenactments, programs on four stages and two field areas by dozens of musicians, presenters, artisans, speakers, reenactors and storytellers. ScanFest '03 celebrates the 365th anniversary of the New Sweden Colony in the Delaware Valley with special presentations on the colony, the ship Kalrnar Nyckel that transported the colonists, interactions with Lenape natives and a special appearance by "colonial Governor Johan Prinz.''
