Come to Weis Ecology Center and learn the basics of feeding wild birds in the winter. What works depends on your yard and what species you want to attract. Bring your questions, plans, or a photograph of your yard to the Weis Ecology Center so Naturalist Philip De Rea can help you make the right choices for feeders, seed type, and placement.

The Backyard Birdfeeding program is $10 per person, with a $4 discount for members of the New Jersey Audubon Society and includes handouts. The cost of this workshop can be applied to a bird feeder or accessory purchase made in Weis' NJAS Nature Store the day of the workshop. Pre-registration is required as space is limited.
