Eagle enthusiast David Bodmer and Naturalist Linn Pierson share their passion for Bald Eagles with registrants in these mini-workshops. After a short indoor primer on winter raptors and their identification participants car-caravan to viewing points around the Wanaque Reservoir to scan the skies for eagles and other birds. Dress for the weather and bring your best optics.
The cost of the Bald Eagle Search is $10 per person, with a $4 discount for members of the New Jersey Audubon Society (includes handouts). Pre-registration is required as space is limited.
