Preserve Historic Hackettstown, Inc. sponsors an educational seminar by architectural historian Janet Foster, assistant director of the Historic Preservation Program at the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture and Planning. Learn about research and selection of authentic historic paint colors, a timely topic for the upcoming painting season. Homeowners will also learn how to conduct their own informal paint analysis. Representatives from paint companies will be on hand to discuss painting products and techniques for historic restoration projects.
