Ringwood - It's like 'play group on the move! Your family can join other like-minded families for a small xcursion led by Jefferson McLaughlin and his mom Gina on Saturday, April 11, 2004. This outing meets at 1 p.m. for an easy one-mile hike at Governor Mountain (Directions will be sent upon registration). This hike is not suitable for strollers. Please wear appropriate footwear and bring plenty of water. The cost of the hike includes a seasonal story or nature craft after the hike. There is also another Hikes with Tykes hike being offered on May 22, 2004 at 1:00.

The Weis Visitors Center, open during business hours, houses their turtle, snakes, seasonal exhibits and an NJAS Nature Store featuring field guides, bird feeders and accessories, kid stuff, regional trail maps and more.
