Join Associate Naturalist George Petty for a leisurely paced hike through Norvin Green State Forest in search of spring wildflowers. Precious and ephemeral, wildflowers are a real treat to see. Learning where and when to look will increase your chances of being able to catch these sometimes inconspicuous plants in bloom. Bring your favorite wildflower field guide (or purchase one at Weis) and learn some easy ID tricks. Appropriate footwear is required. This wildflower walk is scheduled for Saturday, April 17th from 10 am to Noon. Steady soaking rain date will be Sunday, April 18th.

The cost of the Wildflower Walk is $8 per person, with a $3 discount for members of the New Jersey Audubon Society. Pre-registration is required as space is limited.
