Ringwood - The New Jersey Audubon Society's Weis Ecology Center invites you to join birding enthusiasts Elaine Barret and Suzanne Serafini for a one-day workshop on Saturday, September 18 designed for those new to the thrill of hawk watching and those with skills in need of refreshing. An indoor primer on raptor identification (with handouts) precedes an outing to nearby Mount Peter to ply your new skills. Registrants meet at the Weis Ecology Center at 8 am. Additional workshops will take place on Saturday, October 16 and Saturday, November 13. Feel free to join us for one or all of these events.
The cost of Hawks in Autumn is $10 per person, with a $4 discount for members of the New Jersey Audubon Society. Pre-registration is required as space is limited.
