Hackettstown Harvest Festival. More than 40 crafters and vendors line the entire length of the Main Street business district, with food vendors located in the Municipal parking lot, for the Hackettstown Trade Association's 14th Annual Harvest Festival. Events include a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, rock climbing wall, bounce house and slide, with Spider Man, Elmo and Big bird for the children. Hamburger eating contest and Blizzard eating contest with great prizes, music, Cloggers and Hula dancing, a Civil War reenactment and ghost walk. There will also be martial arts demonstrations, pet adoptions for cats and dogs, and drawings. A Scarecrow Contest will be held, too. Over $800 in prizes.
