On New Yearâ€™s Eve, 1984, in their romance bookshop on Manhattanâ€™s Upper West Side, Marcella and Bobbye are visited by Marcellaâ€™s abandoned son, Eddie, and her former lover, Brad. When Marcella refuses to help Brad transport Eddie, who is AWOL, out of the country, Brad takes the two women hostage. Events escalate with the arrival of Marcellaâ€™s wannabe lover, Carl, and it is left to Bobbye to bring about a relatively happy ending. FREE
