Santa in Washington Borough. Santa Claus heralds the holiday season with music, arts & crafts and grand openings in downtown Washington. Santa's shop features different kids' arts and crafts projects and other fun activities from 12-4pm each Saturday, and children can have their pictures taken with Santa. On 12/4, Santa joins town officials for a series of grand opening celebrations from 10am-12noon. Live music downtown is by The Steve Miller Trio (10am-12noon) and Kate and Paul (noon-2pm); and the day ends with a parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony (5:30-6:30pm). 12/11 features music from Klunker (12-2pm) and 12/18 music is by Jam-Bone (12-2pm) and The Brass Quintet (2-4pm). Presented by the Washington Business Improvement District, all activities are Downtown on East Washington Avenue (Route 57), just west of the Route 31 intersection.
