Nature and Science in Northern New Jersey
WHO’S BEEN HERE? AN INTRODUCTION TO ANIMAL TRACKS
Franklin Lakes, New Jersey
1:00 to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2005
Lorrimer Sanctuary
790 Ewing Avenue
Franklin Lakes, New Jersey
Native Americans and primitive people around the world relied on their tracking skills as a means for survival. Today, learning how to interpret animal tracks and signs is a fun and enjoyable activity that everyone can learn, even in their own backyards. After searching the sanctuary for signs of our resident wildlife, we’ll head inside to warm up and make some plaster animal tracks for you to take home.
