Shippen Manor Museum Tour and "Hungarian Traditions." The foodways and customs of 19th Century Oxford immigrant workers will be featured by presenters Joyce and Kristina Burjan of Three Bridges, NJ. Meanwhile, costumed docents lead tours of the colonial and Victorian rooms in the circa 1753 stone mansion that was home to the ironmaster's of the adjacent circa 1741 Oxford Furnace; vocalist Sally Shutler performs 19th Century classical songs and the NJ Frontier Guard, French & Indian War re-enactors, discuss weapons and tactics of the period on the Manor's ground floor. Shippen Manor was home to the Shippens of Philadelphia and the Scranton brothers before they founded the city in Pennsylvania bearing their name. 1-4pm, Shippen Manor Museum, 8 Belvidere Avenue Oxford.
