Saturday & Sunday, April 30-May 1: Shad Tournament. Sponsored by the Knowlton Lions Club and Knowlton Township, the tournament offers cash prizes for shad caught in Warren County's section of the Delaware River, from the Depew Launch in Hardwick to the Riegel Paper Launch in Pohatcong. Registration is $20 in advance (received no later than April 28) and $30 on-site. Current NJ or PA fishing license required. Weigh station located at the Knowlton Lions Field on Route 46 in Delaware, NJ, near Rte. 80 West, exit 4. Fishing begins on both days at 6am, ending at 7pm on Saturday and 4pm on Sunday.
