Jeff Huppert, Loantaka Group Education Coordinator, will be showing excerpts from a film, Oil On Ice, and leading a discussion on the Artic Wildlife Refuge which is threatened by oil exploration and oil development. The program will:

connect the fate of the Artic National Wildlife Refuge to critical decisions America makes about energy policy; discuss the culture of the GwichÃ¯Â¿Â½in Indians; discuss the survival of migratory wildlife in this fragile ecosystem. Free and Open to the Public.
