Saturday, June 4: Nature and Bird Hike. Join naturalist Dennis Briede to walk the Appalachian Trail on a three mile loop south to the nearby rhododendron swamp to Catfish Tower and back. The scenery is spectacular and we will be looking for breeding birds and wildflowers. Bring sturdy shoes and a lunch. The hike leaves from Millbrook Gap, the intersection of the Appalachain Trail where it crosses Millbrook Road, Hardwick Township, (between Blairstown and Millbrook Village) in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. 8am.
