July 16, 23, 30 and August 6: Jazz in July. The summer will swing in Hackettstown this year as the "Jazz in July" series returns to the Centenary Performing Arts Guild for four consecutive Saturdays, beginning July 16. Legendary guitarist "Bucky" Pizzarelli inaugurates the series on July 16 at 8pm with his dynamic Trio, featuring special guest Sarah Cazwell on jazz violin. Other shows are The Jerry Harris Group featuring vocalist Jerry Harris, Jesse Green on piano and Nelson Hill on alto sax on July 23; Jazz vocalist Stephanie Nakasian and her Quartet, featuring piano great Hod O'Brien on July 30; and Dick Meldonian and his 17-piece Big Swing Jazz Band presenting "An Evening with Count Basie" on August 6.
