Shippen Manor Museum Tour. Costumed docents lead tours of the colonial and Victorian rooms in the circa 1753 stone mansion that was home to the ironmaster's of the adjacent circa 1741 Oxford Furnace. Shippen Manor was home to the Shippens of Philadelphia and the Scranton brothers before they founded the city in Pennsylvania bearing their name.
