French & Indian War Encampment. In 1755 the Colony of New Jersey raised the New Jersey Frontier Guard to patrol and protect the western borders of Sussex and what is now Warren County. Join members of the recreated Guard and discover the days when the "western frontier" was just across the Delaware. Shippen Manor will be open for tours during the normal hours of 1-4pm during this event. 11am-3:30pm; Shippen Manor Museum, 8 Belvidere Avenue, Oxford.
