On Saturday and Sunday October 1 and 2, Millbrook Village will come alive as it was a century ago. Volunteers in period clothing will demonstrate various skills and activities common in a late 19th century farming community.

Cooking on a wood stove or over an open fire, spinning, weaving and dying of natural fibers, woodworking, blacksmithing, woodcarving, coopering, basketmaking, sauer kraut making, lacemaking, cider making, drying, smoking and preserving food, and many other activities of a simpler way of life.

Visit the general store and post office. Millbrook's post office will be open for business for the first time since 1919. Send a card or letter hand cancelled with a unique Millbrook Village Station cancellation stamp that will not be used again after Millbrook Days 2005.

Visit the one room school house and answer a few questions. Join in the kid's games and toss a hoop, walk on stilts or join in a sack race. No age limits, just enthusiasm!
