Sponsored by Hudson Farm, in conjunction with Byram Township, and with the help of the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference.
Take in the fall foliage as you hike the newest NJ section of the Highlands Trail and other connecting mountainous trails of the historic Hudson Farm in Byram Township.
Enjoy time with family and friends *and* help raise money for Byram Township Schools, Byram Fire Department, and Lakeland Emergency Squad.
Hudson Farm will generously donate $1 per year of the age of each participant to one of these three groups (your choice - see above) for this unique fundraising walk.
This 3.5 mile guided hike will take you through the picturesque scenery of this beautiful property within the Highlands Preservation Area.
Awaiting your journey�s end is a lunch of hamburgers and hot dogs at Hudson Farm.
When: Begins between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., October 15, 2005
Where: Hudson Farm, 270 Stanhope-Sparta Rd.(Stanhope-Sparta Rd is Sussex County Route 605) on the right, just 0.3 miles north of the Lackawanna Drive intersection.

Please note that the following are NOT allowed on the trail:
Pets - Bikes and dirt bikes of any kind - ATV�s - Skateboards
This trail is for foot traffic only.
What to bring:

+ Cell phone
+ Raincoat or poncho
Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m. at Hudson Farm. Cars must be parked at the farm. Buses will take groups of participants to the start of the hike at Roseville Road. Do not attempt to park on Roseville Road to begin the hike. The trail ends at Hudson Farm.
This is a challenging hike on a mountainous trail, not a walk on paved roads.
Please use discretion with younger children. An adult must accompany children under 12 for the duration of the hike.
Wear sturdy shoes and bring a water bottle. This event is rain or shine, so be prepared with a raincoat or poncho.
