“What family doesn’t have its ups and downs?” No ordinary family, the Plantagenets are gathering for Christmas, and the three power-crazed sons of King Henry and Queen Eleanor are ready to commit almost any crime to claim the throne. Holiday festivities include treachery, plotting, betrayal and broadswords, all brilliantly illuminated by the deliciously modern wit of James Goldman’s play, The Lion in Winter.
Presented by the Summit Playhouse, the performances will be Feb. 24, 25, Mar. 3, 4, 5, 9 10 and 11. All performances are at 8:00 pm, except March 5, which is a 2:00pm matinee.
Tickets are $17 for s, $12 for students (18 and under). Order tickets online at www.summitplayhouse.org or call 908-273-2192.
