Jeffrey Huppert will present a multi-media program on environmental politics, reviewing the progress both forward and backward from the first environmental President, Theodore Roosevelt, to the current President. He will address: How can control of the presidency combined with dominance of both Houses of Congress lead to a dismantling of environmental regulations? Is the E.P.A. really on your side? Why are the Clean Air, Clean Water and Endangered Species Acts under attack? He will discuss what individuals/organizations can do to restore environmental safeguards and conserve our natural heritage for future generations. Admission is free and the public is invited.
