This production of ANTIGONE is a modern-dress version of the play by Sophocles as developed by Jean Anouilh during World War II. Antigone defies orders of her uncle Creon not to bury the body of her rebel brother. Creon offers to spare her if she will be silent about it & obey all of his laws in the future. She refuses, resulting in her death & the suicide of Creon's son, Haemon, her beloved. Casting 9 men, 4 women. Director: Jeff Kurz. See Website for character breakdown.
