ANTIGONE by Jean Anouilh; the modern dress version of the play by Sophocles as developed by Anouilh during World War II to underscore the dangers of living under oppressive, authoritarian rule. ANTIGONE still rings true today as societies struggle to defend the human spirit in the conflict that exists between human rights and the need for social order. Nine weekend performances 6/2–18, 2006: Fri/Sat 8:00 pm, Sun. Mat. 3:00 pm. Tickets $18, Sr/Stud. $16.
